Account Codes are codes given to items and services to allow a site to track purchases through the POS system.  Not all sites use Account Codes but if they do the following is a list of steps required to enable this function:


1.  Select the Dashboard button.


2.  Under the Site Management section select Preferences.  A Preferences screen will display with the General tab selected by default.  Below are two check boxes.  


3.  Select the Account Codes check box.


4.  Select Save Changes


5.  It is important to note that if this function is enabled all Drilldown Items offered for purchase should be given an Account Code when they are set up.
