1.  Select the Administration tab.


2.  Select the Services sub tab.


3.  Click on the New button to set up a new service.  A New Service screen will display to the right. 


4.  Enter the Name of the new service.  If the site has multiple floor plans with different rental amounts the user may want to call the service Rent and add a suite type to the title, 

i.e. Rent -  2 bedroom, Rent - Suite Type A, etc.  


5.  Populate the Staff Group and Category fields as well as the rest of the applicable fields.  Note that the Account Code and Sub Account Code fields do not have to be populated if the site does not use them.  


6.  The Active button will be selected by default and the service must be marked Active to be usable.  


7.  Under the Additional Service Options section select the Auto-Complete check box to ensure that the service does not show up on the To-Do List.  


8.  Select Save.


9.  Once the new Service has been added to the system, the User Roles must be modified so that only Administrative staff can view this service.  Select the User Roles sub tab.


10.  From the list of Roles select the first Role that should not have access to rental amounts.  The User Role list is alphabetical and there are two rows that must to be adjusted - Address Book Tenant Schedule and Administrator Services.  Change the check boxes to no for both.


11.  Select Save.  When this Service is added to a Tenant's Schedule it will only be visible to the staff members who have access.
